How to add training in Football Manager
Friends of Football Manager Guru, here is a new tutorial to help you customize your FM 20. Today we will explain how to add training to Football Manager, quickly and easily.
How to add training in Football Manager
As with other tutorials such as how to install logos into FM or how to insert tactics into Football Manager, the procedure here is very similar.
All you have to do is follow a few simple steps. Let’s see how…
First of all, you need to have downloaded the training programmes you are interested in.
Four specific programmes are currently available on our website:
- Pure attack training
- Pure defence training
- Mental preparation training
- Pre-season training
Once you have downloaded the workouts onto your PC, you will need to extract them using Winzip or Winrar in order to have the folders with the respective files available.
Once you have done this, you will have to place these files in the right location, which changes depending on the type of PC you are using. That is, if your PC runs on Windows, you will have to do one thing, and if your PC is a Mac, there will be another path, which I will now explain.
PC WINDOWS
Place all extracted files in the following path:
- Documents \ Sports Interactive \ Football Manager 2020 \ Schedules
If the schedules folder does not exist, create it accordingly.
MAC
In this case you should:
- Open finder
- Enter the following path: Library/Application Support
- Click on Sports Interactive – Football Manager – Schedules
- Insert the files inside
- If schedules is not present, create it appropriately
How to view the training inside FM
Once you have figured out how to enter training sessions into Football Manager, all you have to do is view and upload them to your FM careers. To do this the necessary steps are:
- Click on training
- Programming
- Edit training programmes
- Get more
- Choose the training programme you entered first
- Upload
This will open the import window where you will see the files with the previously imported training programmes.
