Ugly, Ugly, Ugly.
Football Manager is born into this world just like most babies, ugly. The default Football Manager ships with no club logos, no players’ faces, and no club kits! That is the only part of this amazing game that I find lacking from the start. No fear though, the Football Manager community has put together 3 graphic packs that will guarantee to make you feel like a real manager, and for your interface to look great like the images in the post.
Facepack (2.7GB)
When you initially boot up the game right after installation, everyone appears faceless like in this image.
After installation of this facepack, literally almost EVERYONE gets their new pretty face.
The only downside about this facepack is its size. Standing at 2.7GB it will probably take a while for you to finishing downloading it. It took me about an hour to finish torrenting it (the torrent is surprisingly well seeded). Alternatively, you can download it from the rapidshare links below if you have a premium account like I do. I have tested both ways of download, and both works like a gem.

Installation:
Step 1) Open Megapack 2.0.zip and EXTRACT the EVERYTHING (which is basically just the megapack folder) in the zip file to
C:\Documents And Settings\[YOUR ACCOUNT NAME]\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics\players [Windows XP]
or
C:\Users\[YOUR ACCOUNT NAME]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics\players [Windows Vista/Windows 7]
Create the graphics and players folder if they do not exist.
Step 2) After extraction (it takes a long while), open up FM 2010 and head to Preferences -> Display & Sound and UNTICK the box for ‘Use Skin Cache’ and TICK the box for ‘Always Reload Skin on Confirm’.
Step 3) Click Confirm, and a popup will inform you that images for the skin are being loaded. Now all the players and staff in the game should have faces.
Logo Pack
Without any logo pack installed, all clubs logos will basically look like something drawn by your average 8-year-old kid.
After installation of club logos, I guess you will tend to feel more sense of pride towards the club you are managing.
Unfortunately for us, the logo pack are hosted on filefront (that means slow download if you do not pay), and also they are split into 4 parts to be rejoined later.

http://www.filefront.com/14904011/Football-Manager-2010.zip.004/
Installation:
Step 1) Extract EVERYTHING in .001 with WinRar or 7-Zip (they will automatically join all 4 parts together to be extracted) to
C:\Documents And Settings\[YOUR ACCOUNT NAME]\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics [Windows XP]
or
C:\Users\[YOUR ACCOUNT NAME]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics [Windows Vista/Windows 7]
Step 2) Open up FM 2010 and head to Preferences -> Display & Sound and UNTICK the box for ‘Use Skin Cache’ and TICK the box for ‘Always Reload Skin on Confirm’.
Kit Pack
Kiddy art strikes again, should you not choose to install any kit packs. Your club’s kit will probably look like something below.
After installation of the kit pack, your club players will now wear jerseys that are more respectable.
Download Kit Pack from Mediafire
Installation:
Step 1) Extract EVERYTHING in zip file to
C:\Documents And Settings\[YOUR ACCOUNT NAME]\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics [Windows XP]
or
C:\Users\[YOUR ACCOUNT NAME]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics [Windows Vista/Windows 7]
Step 2) Open up FM 2010 and head to Preferences -> Display & Sound and UNTICK the box for ‘Use Skin Cache’ and TICK the box for ‘Always Reload Skin on Confirm’.
If you have installed all 3 packs, your Football Manager experience will likely be a more enjoyable one. Although it might take some time to finish downloading and extracting all the files, trust me, it is worth it. Feel free to leave more download links in your comments, I will update the download links with credits to the people who comment. Cheers!
